I’m totally obsessed with my Erin Condren Life Planner, and I have no doubt you will be, too. In addition to these gorgeous planners, she offers gift cards, notebooks, calendars, and lots of amazing stuff for teachers, bloggers, and small businesses. These items are perfect for gifts, but even better to keep for yourself to get your life and your business organized in beautiful style. I seriously cannot say enough good stuff about Erin Condren. Go on and check it out!
I cannot recommend Abby Lawson’s ebook, Building A Framework, highly enough. Whether you’ve been blogging for 10 years or 10 minutes, this book is an incredible resource to guide you along your journey. Abby offers so many tips and tricks, and her insight is amazing when you consider that she really hadn’t been blogging for long when she wrote this book. But her success speaks for itself, and this book is a must-read for every blogger!
My absolute favorite place to find images for blog posts is 123RF.com. The prices are reasonable, the images are beautiful, and there are so many to choose from. There are a lot of different places you can go to look for images for your website, but I can’t think of any better than this one. I promise you’ll find exactly what you’re looking for, and you won’t be disappointed.
The one resource I use the most for my clients and my own blogs is Picmonkey. It is perfect for creating incredible graphics, and gives you a huge selection of fonts, shapes, filters, and more. There’s a free version and an awesome paid version which is perfect for just about any budget, so I don’t know why you’d ever pay for one of those high priced photo editing programs when Picmonkey is so amazing. Seriously.
I don’t recommend or install any blog theme other than those from Studiopress, and for good reason. A Genesis-based theme from Studiopress is so customizable and will meet every possible need that a blogger or business has, and they have so many great designs to choose from. If you want style, customization, mobile-responsiveness, and a simple awesome website, I honestly don’t know why you’d use anything but Studiopress.
When you need to purchase a domain, there are lots of choices. But the best choice isn’t always the most expensive choice, and that’s why I personally love Name Cheap. They claim to be the hassle-free way to register a domain, and that’s definitely been my experience with them. Bonus: they throw in lots of handy-dandy freebies with your purchase. You definitely want to check it out!
At the beginning of 2015, I started using the Grasshopper phone system for my business, and it’s been an amazing experience. They make it so easy to set up a phone system for your small business, with extensions for every member of your team, and even a customized greeting that callers will hear when they call you. If you’re looking for a cost-effective yet professional way to receive calls from customers, clients, brands, and businesses, this is it.
Looking for reliable web hosting? I can’t say enough good things about Hostgator. My experience with them has been nothing but positive on my own websites as well as several client sites. Their customer service is responsive and helpful, and that’s really important to me, I’ve used that other web host, and I can tell you that Hostgator is head and shoulders above them.
